21 year old dating a 16 year old

So the ripe old age of 14 -- the age when you still have pimples, are as insecure as can be and are unlikely to get anything more than a kiss from a woman your own age -- is the only time when you can enjoy dating a woman your own age? Add seven to that, so you can date a 12-year-old -- an older woman"?What about if your 10-year-old looks at you and says, "I'm ready to date, Dad"? There is so much a 12-year-old can teach a 10-year-old -- advanced coloring, advanced texting, and so many other important life skills. You're 20 years old and, under this rule, you can date a 17-year-old. There you are in college, and you get to go back to high school again to find a girlfriend. In other words, All knowing God will bless you with your wife when your ready to be her husband. It's great that her parents would not mind if you dated her. A twenty-two year old man is considered an adult, but a sixteen year old is not yet an adult.

The Bible doesnt give instuctions for "Godly dating".

But it does tell us that God will never give us anything we cant handle and I think that includes things we arent ready for.

What i want to know are the reasons behind your Answer. Since acceptable that if one person is older, if by the time the older one is done highschool the younger one is of age of consent then there is no real issue with the age difference.

*Ignore theory* Yes, I see no reason not to treat him like any other boy who would date my daughter. He is still in school as well (or at least school age) By the time he is out of highschool she will be 16 and that is age of consent.

If your 16 year old does not already have a curfew, now might be the time to set one. Beyond her nightly curfew, you might set rules that dictate when and how much she can date -- especially if you have concerns about her schoolwork or other responsibilities that might suffer.
